[Alice is Dead - Ep 2]

Interesting

But more wierd than anything. I really liked this game, back to the time when I did not have an account, I played it over and over, and after some time (Where I already had an account) and having discovered that some games posses medals, I knew this game was not going to be a exeption, and here I am, remembering again. Loved that creepy cat, yeah, sounds weird I know, but the fact it creeped THE HELL out of me the first time I saw it made me start to wonder what was it. Interesting thing. The voice acting was AWESOME, not to forget the splendid artwork and story (both of these last two creeped me, but well, can not expect anything else for a game cualified "Mature" XD, also they were fantastic) I wish there were more games like this, with such a rich storyline and so beautiful artwork. And yeah, I know I am late reviewing this, I know it is old, but just wanted to make a review. Well, with everything said, just lasts to say, CONGRATS! XD

[Feed the Children]

Classic and time consuming.

You might thing that "time consuming" is bad, but not at all, I really enjoyed every second of this thing. Why did I like it so much? I dunno, maybe because of the simple controls or the wierd humor, but I think I go for the randomess XD. The music was normal for this game (old times) and I got a lot of time waste getting the medals (on a funny way, of course). I hope to see more of this style on the future!.

Interesting system!

Overall I really enjojed watching the story of a subordinate from a diferent glance, The game system was great, never seen something like this before. And the challenge was really fun. An interactive game!, you know, you could not let anything go away so that you won the boss fight.
The levels where enough, I would not have wanted more, because it would start being pretty boring, and, of course, power-ups came REALLY handy (why wouldn·t they?) learning the controls was very easy, I got used to it in a few tries. Great game!

Great RPG

There are few games like this (I mean, RPG games that autosave and have at least a decent story), this one is pretty good. Obviously the artwork was one of the finest I have ever seen, and comes out perfectly in games like this. The "race" (ya know, humans, mages, etc) was original, and pretty variative. The background music was good, and suits perfectly tha dark environment players go into. Story was cool, but I think you could have added more complications between the characters (Yeah, i am used to playing old RPG like Final Fantasy XD). Now, respecting the bad points, I would have loved at least a simple animation of tha characters in battle (taking aside any special effect), I think it was kinda unbalanced too (I am not gonna remark it again, a lot of users said it already XD), I would have loved the fact that the character talked a little, but i guess that is kind of a personal opinion. Leveling up was somehow slow (personal opinion again XD). Good RPG over all, but excuse me now, I am gonna get some game magazines cuz I feel the best critic on Newgrounds. XD

Old memories

I remember playing this kind of games on the cyber when I was a kiddo, and i loved it. But this... this thing you call S.H.M.U.P is... a million TIMES better! simple controls (obviously) great improvements and graphics and stages, not to forget about the action and upgrades, bosses where GRE-... no, wait, AWESOME. Lots of efforts where put into this. really enjoyed it. Peace and love :D

wow, just so wierd......

The gameplay was ok, you could change characters, and everyone had a different ability, althouh the ending was strange and unexplainable, i think that was your idea, but still it goes beyond what i thought, its so wierd, and so short to explain, that in the end i stayed like: WTF?, but, still again, maybe that was your idea for this game, about the graphics an music, it was cool (retro graphics and music goes perfectly wih such a short game) and thats it, because its a dream, ANYTHING can happen, and you did it really good although it was too short, would have been great to see what happened next.

Good series, LETS REVIEW!!!

okay, here comes:

Story/7:The story is interesting, but you could have complicated it a little bit more (example: A character is not who everyone thinks he is).And the idea of developing it on 6 stages (or maybe more on the future) was cool because you could explain really good.

Graphics/6,50:About this point many people were afraid, and said they could be much better, they are a little right.Graphics are TOO simple, adding some fluid movements, shadows, etc would have made them much better, but its still OK.The cutscenes are ok too, but could have added more animations on them.

Gameplay/7: Its a plattform and shotting game, so the gameplay is like the "core" of the game itself, and its pretty good!. But, as many people said, a point-shoot control with the mouse could have been better, and still there are many areas in the game that are really hard to get to.

Voice acting/dialogues/7,50: They voices fit perfectly with the characters, and dialogues are ok (could have made them much longer, or you could have added a skip button)so, I have no complains on this!!!.

Sound/7: The music goes really good with the stages, and the effects of shooting and explosions are pretty realystic. Adding some music to the cutscenes would have made it even better, and there where times where I couldnt hear the music because the effectes where "stopping" it, anyway it was really good!!!.

This is it (yeah finally) and one more thing: I really appreciate your effort because
making a game is damnly hard, so congrats on making it!!!

Great game dude!, it has action, plattform, swimming, boss fights, overall great voice acting, just GREAT, but (and i am almost shure you are tired of people saying this but) the graffics..... STILL GREAT!!! oh, and the main character somehow reminds me of Claire Redfield (resident evil) and that brings me back so good memoryes.... KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!!! ;)
